Dr. Beschloss is a board certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. After his service as an Aviator in the United States Navy, Dr. Beschloss earned his Medical Degree at Cornell Medical College in 2005. Following training as a flight surgeon and a tour in Iraq with the Marine Corps, Dr Beschloss completed his residency in dermatology at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health in 2012. As the head of Dermatology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Dr Beschloss led restorative care efforts for wounded warriors using the latest in dermatologic and laser technology to treat disfiguring scars as well as providing comprehensive dermatologic care for active duty service members, their families and retired veterans.
Dr Beschloss has held an appointment as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and has been published in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Beschloss is currently on staff at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, and US Military Health Plan Mitchell Field Family Health Center. Skilled in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Beschloss is dedicated to patient and family centered care emphasizing partnership and patient education to achieve the best possible outcomes. A native of Westbury, Dr Beschloss is thrilled to be serving his home community.
